Alice waited for the results to come back regarding her blood test. She, as many typically did, was not expecting to be any kind of wanted match, no one in their village ever was and Alice herself was just fine with that, she didn't want to be some blood bank to be fed off of no matter how she was treated, she just wanted to leave the village and find her own way and live her own life, she was tired of living under the control of others.
Meanwhile the tester was surprised to find that her blood was top tier, so to speak and sent word to the capitol, as was protocol, before returning to give Alice the results as well. When Alice did find out her heart sank, though many would be more excited...that is unless they were sent to the prince, but with how he treated them few were these days. Regardless she hoped she was not needed and would be left alone, that was really the only hope she had at this point.

a young boy handed over the results to his father as valet sat boredly in the chair beside him.
"Good news, we've found you a new feeder, very rare one at that" his father said looking up from the papers on his desk
"Is it at least a girl this time?" He questioned, not really caring about it as much as his father was
"Yes, female, just turned 18" he replied "ill have her sent"
Valek sat up "no need, I feel it would be more fun to retrieve her myself" he said grinning which caused his father to sigh
"Fine, but try not to kill this one? She's extremely rare"
"Depends on if she can keep up...we will see"

Alice was stopped at work a few days later once the village had gotten word back that the prince himself was coming to see her.
The messenger gave her a sympathetic look before leaving and she was sent home to get ready for his arrival.

It didn't take long for him to get there, even dressed down for travel he stuck out to the locals who shied away from him and almost seemed to hide. It didn't bother him he was used to it, a mother even quickly grabbed her toddler before the child could get to close. He rolled his eyes, he may be awful but but he wouldn't hurt a toddler

Alice was left in the administration building on the day of his arrival and the head of the village went out to welcome him.
"It is an honor, thank you for gracing our humble village with your presence," the older man said after greeting him.

One of the local guards came and walked with her out of the building.
"This is Alice Luna." He introduced. Alice gave a simple curtsy but didn't say anything just yet as she studied the prince.

"Thank you," she replied though had hoped he wouldn't like her and just leave but things weren't looking like they would go the way she wanted.

He walked up to a carriage and a guard opened the door for them and held out a hand for Alice to help her in after Valek had already gotten in

She thanked the guard but didn't take his hand and just got in on her own
