"Still more than you" he grumbled, he wasn't happy with this in the slightest and it was in no way his natural instinct to even let her leave anywhere without him. But he still had a job to do here that he can't just leave all the time because she wants to go deal with something

"For one thing, this particular mission isn't days on end it is within the town borders you protect. For another you don't have to go every time. My end of the compromise would be to not go looking for things like that, just answer the call if someone reaches out to me."
