For the new idea

Alright so here is what I have so far for the new idea I had

I'm on mobile so can't post pictures right now it seems but ill put them up after work when

So base idea evil demon king type begins to invade new lands causing terror and harm etc

I have a guy that is a spy/rougue type for his homeland, good their and with stealth, usually uses sneak attacks and ranged weapons but can do close combat if needed and can break in anywhere

And my gurl is a shapeshifter that was shunned from her land and has been wandering mostly on her own for a while she is energetic and chaotic but kind, so far she found that she cannot be easily killed, having very rapid self healing and would need to be shot or stabbed directly through the heart or by a specialty weapon (she is hEAvily inspired by Nimona if you've seen it)

okay so here is the evil king
Originally they were the Kingdom of Light, the royal family having special powers to chase away darkness so to speak but he and his land were infected by a blight of Dark magic, the embodiment of darkness and evil possessing him from a young age and corrupting him as well as corrupting the citizens and turning them into monsters
The kingdom was plunged into darkness for generations and the king has survived this long by feeding off of the life-force of others as well as the darkness itself, he has primarily done so wit any wives or slaves he has taken as well as his children that he saw as useless until one was born with the power of darkness so he intended to raise his son as his official heir and to try and make him like he is
this, however did not really work and his son escapes and finds refuge with the rebellion, joining their ranks


his son may have the power of darkness but it does not corrupt him as it does most who come into contact with it and the darkness he creates does not corrupt, in fact it has some of the original Light effects of his family line, it can counter and cure the corruption in everyday people

and finally with ma gurl she had been born with her shifting powers, cited in a prophecy that she would be aiding in defeating the darkness that was corrupting the land
she has fun with her powers and though there was a prophecy around it she was still treated like a monster so she mostly avoids others but travels often, shifting so as to never be recognized or just traveling as an animal
she is on the chaotic side, running by the seat of her pants and doesnt really make plans, she is kind and often self sacrificing though because her powers also seem to afford her some level of immortality and she also does not sustain injury like a normal person, her body just sort of adapts around what causes her injury such as an arrow or being stabbed so she tends to act as a human shield or charge into danger without much thought



i also figured that with darkness being so prevalent in the original royal family of Light, the Light now chooses a new line to begin to balance out the spreading darkness

Oh this is such a great idea! Is there anything in particular you were wanting for a character or characters I would make? Specifically like certain abilities you wanted for the story line or just have me figure something out lol
And the whole plauged darkness blight thing is very legend of zelda-ish to me lol like with Gannon and his monsters

it's used in a lot of games like Zelda and Dragon Quest
as far as abilities goes no, you're welcome to do that how you want, i just left the Light stuff open ended in case you wanted to use it since my prince guy began inheriting a new form of darkness that wasn't corrputive or evil

I thought I might give her a brother, with abilities dealing with the cold and ice and a kind of icy/cold personality with strangers especially men around his sister as there parents left them orphaned at a young age so they don't have much money and people have literally tried to buy his sister as a wife.

Ooo nice, imagine they meet my gal first and she's just very fun, chaotic and cheerful on the outside, helping to chip away at his icy demeanor and he helps her with expressing her more negative feelings again because she hasn't in so long but actually really relates to them because of how she was shunned from her homeland and treated like a monster

And my guy would just be excited to meet whomever began the new line of Light

I thought they would make an interesting dynamic all together. I'm hoping to finish at least half of there profile tonight when willow goes to bed and before I get to tired and pass out lol.
