Enzo just nodded, not much for conversation with people he doesn't know and how bubbly nova was her personality was draining to him

After a little bit Jett spoke up, "as some may be aware the Dark King had once been the heir to what had been the Kingdom of Light. Now it is the Kingdom of Shadow with the corruption for several generations now. The Light in recent generations has found a new family line to be its host."

"An evil darkness took him before the light would have. I don't know if someone else was behind it or the darkness itself. Regardless for several generations now he's stolen the life force of people to continue living including my mother not long after I was born. I was the first of the children he sired that he did not kill because I inherited a form of the darkness, though I believe it to be a more true form, neutral instead of corrupting. I spent most of my free time studying the library at home on how the family in the past have written about the light."
"Mm the Heir of Darkness and the Heir of Light," Nova hummed.

"In a manner of speaking though I left the palace a few years ago to join a rebellion group. So whose next? I keep hearing about a prophecy?"
"Well when I was born my village Elders were given a prophecy about people who would bring the light back. Four, the Heir of Darkness and Heir of Light," she indicated Jett and Bell.
"The Child of All Living Creatures," she indicated herself with a "duh" kind of expression, "and the Child of the Elements," she indicated Enzo.

"You seemed to have heard the prophecy yourself. You tell me. I'm aiming to take down the Dark King," Jett answered.
"Restoring light. Restoring balance. It was believed light had reigned for too long and that is why the darkness came the way it did. Now it is time to bring the two into balance," Nova answered.
"Aka, taking down the Dark King."
