he smiled and ran a hand down the side of her face
"oh calm down cutie i won't hurt you."

she relaxed only a little but was still on edge due to his actions

he smiled and sat back and looked around

"Emma!" someone yelled from up the steps and Emma quickly got up and out of the pen it locking shut behind her as she scurried up the steps

he smiled
"hmmmm? so that's her name."

"here use this to clean up the rat." the man said forcing a tray with different things on it into her hands, she nodded and wet back down the steps

he rolled his eyes
"ch! they call me a rat." he mumbled

she said nothing as she opened the door again and shut it behind her

he watched her carefully

she took a rag with water on it and sat infront of him and gently cleaned the blood off his cheek

he smiled at ehr

she didn't smile back or anything she just looked down at the wound on his leg then back up at him

he smiled
" i will not hurt you if you talk."

"I know." she said, her voice was quiet yet angelic and calming "I'm going to have to clean that before it gets infected so you'll have to take your pants off." she said looking up at him

he grinned
"well that's no problem at all."
