"gah and the song and the dancing and the ahhh it's so funny." Mia said holding her side in pain from laughing so much, Vin sighed "you know your apart of that song to." he reminded her and she stopped laughing "crap now the comedic value is nothing to me." she said sighing

laes kind of mother showed up
"laeweni! lae snapped up from the position she was in on the sand watching lenning and smiled and ran over to her
"PEKA!" she hugged her
she laughed
"so how is winikeneke doing."
" it hasn't started yet, come sit with peka."
she said pulling her to her spot on the sand and sat down crossing her leggs
"lae dear i didnt come hear to watch. sadly i have things to do on the busiest time of the year."
lae made a paind face but understood "heh right i forgot. so whats up."
she smiled at her "you have a letter........from new york."
her eyes went wide "now way."
she smiled and nodded and handed it to her
"KYAAA!!!!!" lae hopped up dancing around the beach
perivously lae had applied for a scholorship at new yorks school of dance the same school her mother had attened to
as peka went back to work at the resturant lae went out to the pior the best spot to watch the contest but no one brave enought to when the waves were as high as they were
so she sat there staring at the envolope not yet opend leaning aginst the light house

Mia watched the water pushing her hair behind her ear to keep it from getting in the way
"Vin can I ask you something." she asked letting her feet hang off the side of the pier
"what is is Mia?" he asked looking over at her
"do we have to leave?" she asked quietly while staring out at the water
"Mia." he said sighing but he didn't say anything more

wini was winng so far he was doing a bunch of these awsome tricks and whatn not
lae cheered for him but as she did she let the letter slip from her hands as the wind tore it away from her

Vin saw it and went after it grabbing it before it could hit the water or go even close. Mia looked over and smiled

she ran to the end of the peir and saw that he cought it and let out her breth

"no problem I was guessing it was important, and you wouldn't want to lose it." he said handing it back to her Mia walked over and as curious as usual "what is it?" she asked and Vin sighed "Mia dont pry into other peoples business."

she laughed slightly
"its not as easy as that. if i'm excepted yeah thats amazing but it also means i have to leave. if i'm not...........she shrugged then i'll be stuck hear for the rest of my life."

she said and looked out at the watter and smiled as wini road a wave by them and gave a short wave affter doing a little flippy thingy

laeweni took a deep breth and wedged her thumb underneth the envolope opening and riped teh top open and closed her eyes slowly takeing the paper out and unfolding it then re opend her eyes right wen the bell rang for the surfers to come back in at the end of the first round she screamed and ran off the pier and ran over to hug wini
