Their team was on the field first so she headed to outfield since she would be able to run to catch the ball easier.

They needed one more catch to get the third out so they could switch and the ball went way out. River ran and caught it but fell and hit her head on a rock. She started to sit up, dizzy.
"And poeple ask why I hate baseball." She murmered.

She sighed but didn't have time to react any further when she gasphed and saw various flashes of his past and present mixed together. It happened every so often through touch which is why she often refrained from being in contact with others. She saw one last vision of the future and saw the two of them kiss!
