Jericho shifted his bag on his shoulder as he walked through the doors of the high school. everyone was talking happily and catching up about there summer and the girls talked about him as he walked by. He ignored it and went to where his friends always went to catch up on the first day

She walked to the high school grudgingly. She hated the school uniform and hated even more that she had to go to school at all, but Jordan had talked her into it and gave her the guilt trip about how she had never been able to have a public school experience. River pointed out that it was because everyone was still against roma, but she enrolled anyways and now she was walking through the front doors in the stupid uniforms and the new kid. Fun.

Jericho walked into the office to get his papers, he didn't even look at her but the other girls giggled "hi Jericho." they said and he looked up at them and flashed a charming smile "morning ladies."

She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Of course there would be stupid giggly girls at a high school and of course there would be jerks who thought they were something special. But she knew better, everyone's life was equal to another, no matter what they do, she didn't believe that anyone was more valuble than someone else. Now there were people that were more important to her personally, but that was on the personal level.

"And River here is your scheduel. Hope you have a great first day!" The secretary said with a smile. River gave a small smile and said, "Thanks, you have a good day too."
She headed to homeroom and looked over her scheduel.

his friend Nico was in her home room and Jericho was in there just to talk, he was sitting in a chair with his feet up on the desk just talking to Nico

Jerk. She thought, and again scolded herself for think something like that, but she couldn't help it, when someone was like that, so rude, it bothered her. She always stayed away from people like that, they were usually also the most narrowminded or the prejudice ones.
