Things are Not Always as they Seem

"I've said that to him before but I guess he's afraid to." Nico said giving River a smile. Nico was quiet cute with his bright blonde Hair and Blue eyes but a lot of girls seemed to prefer Jericho over him.

"His choice, shouldn't pressure him into doing something he's not ready to or doesn't want to, so for now, just accept it and move on I guess." She said with a small shrug and a smile.
"So what you're giving up the battle?" Ali asked.
"I was never fighting any battle, I was moving on with my life. You know I've given up on trying to change people when it comes to prejudices. Some people can be changed, others can't, those who can, give em guidance and help, the others just accept it and move on I say." She said shrugging

"okay then well I should get going." Nico said smiling "I'll see you at school River." he added going back out the door

"Okay, bye." She siad and went back to organizing the back room and helping Ali.
"That boy, oh my gosh he is cute." Ali said.
"Yeah...what's your point?" River asked.
"My point is that if you aren't going after him I am." She said.
"Go ahead, you're only a year younger than me." River said shrugging.
"I'm glad that we didn't grow up in England with those Roma, we would have been married by now." Ali said.
"Yeah, I'm not ready to be tied down to a man yet." River agreed.

and from inside you could hear Nico say "oh my gosh the puppy is so cute!" some lady had a little cocker spaniel puppy and was walking with it, Nico loooooveeed dogs

Jericho was out walking now and saw him, he stopped and laughed "you sounded gay right there Nico."

Ali, Hunter and River finished putting the last of the royal blue carpet in.
"Now we can walk barefoot." River said.
"Yay!" Ali said and kicked her sandals off, one hit the wondow and starlted some lasy outside.
"Ehehe, whoops." She siad sheepishly.
River rolled her eyes and patted her on the head saying, "Oh Ali, sometimes I wonder what goes through your head." River then started to shuffle her tarot cards just because while Ali flipped the close sign to open

Nico looked up and Jericho pulled him to his feet since the lady had to go "I swear you should just get a dog Nico."

"Aw a doggie!" Ali squealed.
"Ali, you need to calm down before you have a seizure or something." Hunter said.
"But it's a doggie, doggies are the best." Ali said.
"We understand that you think that, but take a chill pill." River said smoothing her hair to get her to calm down. Ali took a deep breath and let it out slowly

Nico followed Jericho past the shop again, they were going to the beach with friends today so they had to get home and change to be there in a few hours

River left and headed home to do homework after she closed up the store later that night. It was about nine p.m. and already dark. Hunter and Ali had left about an hour ago, but River didn't allow herself to leave until the shop was completely organized.

Jericho walked back down the street with Nico, they were heading home from the beach. it wasn't that far and they both could drive but they'd rather walk in this weather

It was a long walk home so she pulled out her pipes and played them lightly so she wouldn't disturbe anyone.

She continued to play, or at least until she had a vision. She fell to the ground into a seizure (if the visions come on their own without physical touch from anyone, she goes into a seizure).
