Although only Abrecan will likely be the only one to get that exact meaning from it, to others it was in a final sort of tone, simply to say, 'don't go ape shit about this.'

I can't make a promise that I won't, no one can make a promise of not hurting anyone, eventually you will accidentally do or say something that will hurt someone in some way. But I can promise that for as long as she wants me to, I say that only because I will not stick around if she doesn't want me there. I will be there to protect her and do my best to not hurt her in any way. If that answer is not good enough for you then I must conclude that you cannot be please with any answer like that." He answered
