There were various servants putting up decorations for the Winter Solstice in two days, the celebration wasn't as big as the Summer solstice, but they still celebrated, especially since some Water Kingdom people were staying, this was thier biggest holiday and the princess and her parents were coming any day now

"Getting ready for the Winter Solstice, in most ledgends it was the day the Water kingdom started. It's not as big of a deal to us as it is for the people of the Water kingdom, but we still celebrate, especially since there are some poeple staying from there." He explained
