He kept a protective arm around her until they got to the cottage he was staying in alone.

she got shaky with the being alone in a cottage together, but she didn't seem to show it

He opened the door and held it open to let her in and said, "If you're still hungry there's food in the kitchen you can help yourself to, I will find you something warmer to wear."

He went to the other room after closing the door. He left it unlocked so she knew that she could go if she wanted to. It was warm in the cottage and cozy

He smiled a little and put teh clothes on the table next to her and laid a blanket over her so she wouldn't get cold
