"she was so lively even though she lost her parents as a baby. she never had a good home and I wanted to take care of her and make her happy agaih." he sighed "give her what she wasn't given before."

she came back over and got up on his lap "I found one." she said holding up a book about bunnies.
he smiled "okay, now you can read it and if you get stuck I'll help."

she smiled a little but her eyes went to slits as alarms started to go off
she stood up and grabed her staff
as lights went out

he got up quickly and set Mae down "the door, you know the one that leads to my room right?" he asked and Mae nodded
"go there and wait for me dont you leave until I come for you." he kissed her on the forehead and she went to one of the bookshelves and dissappeared
