"prince! whats it say does it say his name? anything!" she said jumping on the bed wanting to know. she was in love with the prince without knowing him, she just always believed they were like in the stories.

"Erm, no. Mostly distinguishing features, not looks wise but behavior and knowledge, character stuff." She answered

"is he smart? charming?" she said pulling pins from her hair wanting to know more

"I don't know." She answered

she sighed
"I wish I could read it."

"I could teach you a little bit, but I'm still learning myself and Alex doesn't know how to read much either." Sadie said

she looked down at her hands "maybe when we have time." she said grabbing a rag to get that make up off her face.

"Yeah. Come on let's go get that make up off." Sadie said

she smiled and headed to the washroom

she turned the sink on and ran it till warm before putting the rag under it before wringing the excess water out "so where are you and your brother from?" she asked trying to get that makeup off but there was a lot

"Not sure, as far as we know we were born into slavery but our parents were killed when we were babies so we aren't sure." She answered

"oh, well at least you know you weren't sold by your parents into it." she said with a sigh as she tried to get the liner off her eyes "spent my whole life like this waiting for prince charming to sweep me off my feet away from this place. kind of stupid but hey it keeps me smiling right."
