(okay so I had an idea that the princess stabs her and Triste has to decide to either let her die or turn her, she'd only be a halfling so she'd be barley a vampire but she woudn't age but she wouldn't be crazy strong or fast.)
she walked onto the balcony taking in a deep breath

she leaned against the balcony and a hand went over her mouth
"he's mine you pathetic little human." Selene hissed and as Artemis struggled Selene pulled a dagger from her sleeve
"sleep well you little brat." she stabbed her and the scent of blood filled the room as Selene collapsed to the ground and Selene was gone, Artemis had collapsed to the ground and she let out a scream of pain

she'd passed out from the pain, his father closed the doors to the balcony
"well well well aren't you in a predicament here. you have two options and only 2 minutes to make that decision before she dies."
