It started dumping rain and she started to sprint home and jumped when a loud crash of thunder complete with lighting striking in the park nearby made her jump out of her skin as she ran faster down his road still about a fifteen minute walk from home. She had her phone and ipod safe in the inside of her jacket pocket but that didn't change the fact that it was storming

he was out in the rain with an umbrella and he saw her

"Um...about a mile and a half." She answered, of course that was a pretty long ways on foot but she had been caught in a storm plenty of times, it's just that the lightning was so close that it was more dangerous than usual.
