She paid attention as she learned. She knew it would have been easier to learn when she was younger but she wasn't going to give up whether it got hard or not.

She looked to see what he was indicating and read it out...sort of. Several words she stumbled over but it wasn't too bad after only one lesson.

he pulled out some other easy books "you can take these."
