"I was caught talking to my dead grandmother and accidentally shattered the windows of a courthouse and was thrown out." She said quietly, so only the kid could hear her...or she hopped. She didn't like talking about it, but they had both been through similar situations, accidentally causing a problem and being abandoned for it.
