Seriyth showed her what Emma's chores would be whenever her time was not occupied by taking care of her self (sleep, food, bathing, etc.) or her master. Only once she had everything finished and Match was not going to use up the time, could they do such things as be out in the courtyard or rest in their room.
Match generally did not keep a toy around for very long so they usually did not learn such things, but he wanted to keep this one around for a while.

Emma easily kept those things on her mind, and did a few along the way "chores and torture what a nice life"

Seriyth sighed. "You said it." She answered as they went through the days chores, finishing before dinner as a storm rolled in while they were in the kitchen.

at first it was just raining, more of a down pour and Emma sighed hating the sounds it made in the silence.
Alistair walked in and leaned against the wall "done yet?"
