Serena groaned as a light flicked on and a man walked up to her cell "alright beautiful your turn" he said with a wicked smirk making Serena shiver in disgust as she was un cuffed and taken to a room where some women bathed her and dressed her in something clean before another man came back and took her she heard muffler voices behind a door before the man opened the door and yanked her forward onto a stage where she shielded her eyes from bright lights she hadn't seen in years
"alright gentlemen lot 79. this ones a virgin and takes orders with out protest let's start bids at 10 thousand"
the auctioneer grabbed her from the man and pulled her forward into the light of the stage and all she heard was shouting and the price the man stated rise past a million, virgins didn't come around often on the stage she knew that from other girls so she expected the price to go high but not that high

Killian and his sister were drug to an auction. Neither cared to be there but their parents insisted and they were the ones bidding and won the girl known as lot 79.
"Can we go yet?"
"Yes it is about time to go."

the guy dragged her off the stage Serena looked terrified to go, she knew what it was like here by not with whoever she couldn't see in the dark crowd
"well looks like we're losing the pretty one" one of the guys said grabbing her chin making her squeak

"We'll take things from here so back off will you?" Killian said to the man with a cold glare that he wore regularly, daring anyone to question his authority as prince.

the guy got wide eyed and shoved her towards killian making her stumble and fall on her knees in front of him but she didn't dare look up at him from her spot on the floor

Killian helped her stand and directed her in the direction he and Shani were going.

Serena kept her eyes on her feet as she followed the two without a word

Once back at the palace a girl in her late teens with the same red hair and green eyes met them at the door.
"Show the new servant to the quarters she'll have her assignments given later." Shani ordered the girl, their younger sister, Grace.

she looked up the girl but looked at killian out of the corner of her eyes noticing how Handsome he was she blushed then looked back down at her feet

Grace nodded in understanding. "Follow me miss."
"I'll notify you later on your purpose here." Killian told her before going his own way.

she followed her looking at the floor as she walked "what does he want with me?" She said quietly

"I dunno. Another servant they can feed off of I suppose. That's all I'm her for, but you aren't related so maybe the king and queen picked you out as a potential...ah...bride, so to speak, for Killian. He only said he would inform you later because he doesn't know yet himself."

she felt her ears get a little hot and she looked back down "Why would i even want anything to do with him he seems so cold" she did find him attractive but the way he acted and the vibe he gave off scared her "either outcome I'm not sure I'd be very happy with"

She shrugged. "At this point you don't have much choice in the matter without managing to escape. But something like that would also depend on if he wants you. When it comes to humans and vampires a human bride is also someone who becomes the only one the vampire will feed off of, as well as could be their wife if they choose it. It can either be a mutual arrangement....or in this case forced."

she rubbed her arms "and they said being sold is better then the cages they are very wrong, very very wrong" she shuddered and the thought of being some blood bank to a cold vampire "I'd rather just clean things or something really any thing else I don't want his lips anywhere on me"
