She swatted at his hand and put the now loose hair back into the ponytail. "I know. Though a big change for a person like that is rare."
"I don't like being lied to either so for future reference don't lie to me kay? I mean if there is a good reason behind it then I'll get over it, but say manipulative lying and stuff like that? May as well write your will. Is there anything else that upsets you or bugs you that I should know about?"

Kayla went through the rest of her day at work, though her mother stopped by for some bread and was doing other shopping, before Kayla could even say anything about Kathy dropped the news of Kayla having a boyfriend.
"What? When did this happen? It's that boy you went on a date with isn't it? Why didn't you tell me?" Her mother demanded.
"We just talking about it today mom." Kayla muttered and had a hand over her face to hide. She was glad no one else was in the store.

"That's him." Kathy piped up.
"Hello! I'm Margaret, Kayla's mother it's good to meet you!" Her mom said excitedly.
