She shook it back into place.
(gonna time skip)
Kayla helped with the last of cooking dinner and setting the small four person table they had in the main room of the house. The main room consisted of the living room with a fireplace, the kitchen and a small dining space in between. The house was a one bedroom house though a screen was put into the bedroom to keep part of it separated so that there could be a little bit of privacy and had a small bathroom. It was small but neat and cozy.

Jackson had went home and changed before sneaking right out again, not knowing a guard had followed him out

Kayla then went back to the bakery to meet him to lead the way to her house.

Kayla led the way to the outskirts of the town near the farming fields to the small cottage with lights blazing. She opened the door to let him in.
"Well...welcome." she said.

She led him inside where her parents were waiting. Her mother beaming and father gave a polite smile.
"Hi, I'm Drake. Kayla tells me you're a guard at the palace hm?"

"Yes sir, trying to follow in my father's footsteps" he said with a slight smile not liking to lie like that but he didn't know kayla enough in his mid to tell her the truth

Kayla and her mother moved to the kitchen to finish up setting things out.
"I know a lie when I hear one. You don't have the eyes of a bad person though so let me give you a piece of advice. Women always find out the truth. Always." Drake said to him only loud enough for Jackson to hear.
