she watched him "did you want a drink or something?"

"No thanks. That would be ambiguous as I'm here for work."

"I didn't mean it had to be a alcoholic drink...ive got sprite since that's what you made me bring you when I met you" she said getting up and walking over to him "so your really working right at this very moment?"

"You're considered a viable witness as you have some coworkers who are slaves and probably not even close to home."

"Well I think you need to throughly investigate your witness" she said putting her arms around his neck with a smile "I Think a strip search is in order"

"While a case is in effect such things are not allowed among detectives and witnesses." He replied while taking note of the girls names. "Is there anything else you can tell me about them? If they mention family or school? Where they live or notice any odd behavior other than the normal signs of fear and specific employees speaking for them or always nearby when they are working?"

she unwrapped her arms from around his neck and stepped back, obviously a little butt hurt over such a blunt rejection "not that I can recall " she answered sitting down again "we don't really talk..."

she just sat there staring out the window, crossing her legs, and her arms in the process. her personality changing really quick obviously not used to being rejected she was a bit more shut down.

He noticed the behavior and chuckled. "Don't take it personally, as I said yesterday I'm basically always working. I don't often turn off that part of my brain, so to speak. Besides right now there is a case involved with your workplace so there could be complications for your coworkers who are forced to stay there if a detective and witness were to be involved."
