"She's prettier then me maybe he should go see her to forget about me"

"Our father had made a pact with them to stay out of each other's business and leave one another alone. Unless he wants to try and take a snowy kingdom and wage war he can't. Though I'm sure you are prettier."

[~Amber~]

"Well why couldn't he have done that with my family" she said sighing

[***Stormchaser***]

"I don't know, from my understanding our father's had an okay standpoint so my brother took advantage of that and I suppose your father took advantage of the offer?"

[~Amber~]

"And now your brother will take advantage of me..or at least try to"

[***Stormchaser***]

He sighed, though did not have anything to respond with.

[~Amber~]

"No good response huh?" She said smiling a little

[***Stormchaser***]

"To be honest I don't know how he was in private with his previous wife, she didn't talk about it. I suspected not good though."

[~Amber~]

she sighed "how did she end up with him? same situation?"

[***Stormchaser***]

"Actually it was arranged by both parents from a young age and they were on good terms at first."

[~Amber~]

"at first?"

[***Stormchaser***]

"Well that was before he became king. He started becoming more impatient and then our parents were murdered. After he became king he got really controlling of her. She didn't admit to it but I could tell and caught it on occasion. Then her behavior changed, very quiet and avoided everyone, odd bruises and things she tried to hide. And then she got very sick."

she looked down at her hands "I'm afraid of him..." she said quietly "even more reasons to be now"

"I have a feeling that things will be okay..." He said quietly
