She didn't have enough time to try and think about what that meant and dashed off into town to make it home, though had left behind her mask on the couch of the sitting room they were in. Managing to sneak into the attic just before the family returned and stowed the dress and shoes into their hiding spot and dove into bed a minute before the door opened, her step father checking on her.
