Not So Robin Hood

He just stared at the ground to avoid looking at her.

"Where am i?" She said finally turning to look at him "....oh"

"I'm sorry you got mixed up with my family like this. They swore they would leave you alone if I.....well it didn't seem to matter. I understand if you hate me. Regardless of the reason i still betrayed you and it didn't even matter because they still came after you." He said slowly though still looked away from her to hide his face. He had been beaten again for trying to run and warn her.

She watched him "it does matter, and why won't you look at me? Don't want to look at me anymore?"

"It didn't matter because they still went after you. I only gave real secrets because they threatened you. One of my cousins was even at your house, the day before the break in of the bank, accidentally walked into you as she says outside it to make the point." He answered before looking at her, one of his eyes was black and nose has shown signs of being bloody and bruises and cuts all over before quickly looking away.
"I didn't want you to look at me."
"They found out that I loved you and used you against me, swearing they would never go near you. Clearly lying, deciding you'd make good ransom for your parents. You can believe me or not, it doesn't change what I did, it doesn't change that I hurt you."

She moves over to him "you know they already know I'm gone right? The daughter of a security and tracking tycoon and you don't think I have some sort of location device? Probably are already on there way with the security hounds and daddies private swat team."
She sat against the wall beside him "you've seen what those dogs can do to training bots imagine human flesh"

"Unless you have something like that implanted in your body they have already destroyed it before even getting here." He responded. "But if you are right then good, they can come and get you."

"It is implanted my parents are too but they can only access it if im missing and I'm taking you with me robin, look what they did to you I'm not letting them hurt you like that again"

"I'm guilty of crimes too, I highly doubt that would fly with your parents or the law. I'll help testify against my family for you, but I doubt I'll be able to just go free myself." He answered with a shrug.

She sat there silently looking up as she heard comotion above "if you dont...what will happen? They'll lock you up for how long"

"If I don't testify against my family, then I'll probably go away for a good few years at least. If I do then I'm not really sure. And that wouldn't include any charges you or your family could file against me for giving away secrets that led to a crime."

She looked down "my father wouldn't file anything against you, you felt it was the only option to save my life he will understand" she looked up as a dog, the size of a bear and made of metal stalked into the room and noticed her but they looked at robin about the lunge before she said "He's friendly stand down" and the dogs posture relaxed slightly. Standing in front of her to block any possible attack coming through the door

"If I'm gonna be attacked by a metal dog I'd at least like to not be tied up." He commented and relaxed as the dog stood down.

The dog undid her ties and she took a knife from it and undid his "he won't hurt you i promise..no one will"

"You don't need to worry about me. You should probably go on ahead so that they know you're safe, I'll follow once you're at the top of the stairs."
