"If muggles aren't smart then how would you explain all of the discoveries made and technological achievements?" She asked, getting defensive. Mimi didn't like any form of prejudices as is, but ones that insulted someone's intelligence just because they weren't knowledgeable in the same ways rubbed her the wrong way.
"Mimi, I don't think she meant anything by it, she just doesn't know muggles." Josh answered.
"Doesn't mean it is right to continue to make assumptions like that." She answered while rounding up her things and started walking back up the beach.
"Sorry about her...there aren't really many muggle-borns at this school so she became quickly accustomed to having to jump to her own defense or, it would seem her most preferred method, just take it in silence, but she's always held interest in all kinds of subjects and even got onto muggles who questioned or insulted someone's intelligence." Josh explained with a sigh.
