"Um...hi." Ben replied with a slight wave.
"She had slipped and hurt her head on the ice out in the park." Elise explained and sat in front of Lula with a small flashlight to check her eyes now that she was in a more human-like form before stepping back. "There was no concussion suffered in her cat form and doesn't appear to be one in this form either, though I don't know much about...whatever you guys are, shape-shifters?"

"Demons but yeah in a way shape shifter but we can only change to our specific animal" he said and glared at his sister before she slipped over to him "she's an animal humans want to see and cuddle I usually just threaten to eat them"

She stopped bouncing on her heels and looked down, her tail snuck back down and her ears as well. Ashton noticed and sighed "anyways thanks....lula let's go"

"Don't be too put off by Ben, that expression was just for me, but his birth family hasn't exactly had the best history with demons so if you want to get anywhere with him you'll have to be a little patient. He's also pretty shy as is."

"Still human enough" he mumbled before his sister shifted back into that fluffy white kitten and he scooped her up walking back in the direction of home

"Well that was unexpected." Her brother commented once the door was closed.
"Agreed." She answered with a sigh as the two prepared to go to bed.

"You know you can't like him" he said and her little tears went down, she knew she wasn't supposed to so she just kept quiet. He knew she probably wouldn't listen to him anyways
