Captured

"Goodnight." He replied and thought about joining her in a little bit though decided to do a quick flight as a patrol of sorts.

She sat down on her bed but jumped as her door creaked open. "Princess?" She looked up as Ryland poked his head in
"Ryland what are you doing here!?" She snapped and got up looking out to see viggo wasnt there
"You need to go if he catches you here he will kill you" he shook his head and grabbed her hand "let's go then hes gone come on"
"Ryland I cant..."
He stopped and looked st her "why not?" He said pulling her out of the room
"Hes protecting my people in exchange for my company" she explained and he sighed
"They will be fine my family will protect you now let's go" he said forcing her to leave with him, she didnt want to leave

After a little while of checking virtually all the land he went back and poked his head into her room.

[~Amber~]

"Do you even understand what you've just done?" She questioned yanking her hand from his they entered the palace "pretty sure you just gave us a death wish"
"Allorah" she stopped at turned to see her parents shocked
"Mom...dad" she managed to choke out and hugged them
"Oh darling are you alright?" Her mother asked and she signed
"He never laid a hand on me....daddy hes just lonely"
"Lonely? Allorah hes a dragon they dont care"
"They do care" she said quietly looking out the huge window towards the cave "more then you know..."

He found her empty room and searched the rest of the cave system but did not find her and sighed sadly before going back out to search the surrounding land. It could be dangerous but also found nothing.
He finally went to one of the caves and laid down there.

She sighed sitting down on her bed, she never thought shed be unhappy going home. They were going to marry her to ryland in a weeks time. This was there way of insuring whatever attachment ahe had to the dragon was gone

He stayed in his usual form and mostly just stayed in the cave.

The week was pretty quiet until allorah heard a lot of commotion and managed to yank the doors to her balcony closed. They had bolted it closed to make sure he couldnt take her again. She looked down to see buildings on fire and her people being corralled into the main square.
It wasnt until hee door was yanked open and she was grabbed roughly by enemy soldiers and dragged out of the castle.
"That dragon didnt come this time so were going to make a statement from you beautiful" he said as she was dragged into time square infront of all of her people.
"This is going to be the end of an era here" a man, dressed as what she believes was the general said as two men roughly tied her hands together and strung her up from a pole.
"Today this families reign ends" he said putting a sword to allorahs stomach
"And you will all be here to experience it" the soldiers had to wrangle the crowd in as they all tried to push back against the men, they were loyal to her family and always will be
"Any last words princess?" He questioned and she didnt look up at him she just hung her head and said not a word

The commotion reached him in the cave and he got up curious to see buildings on fire and the people rounded up.
They had one person strung up and something tools him to get a closer look. As soon as he did he let out a roar, swooping down over the land to snatch up enemy soldiers and drop them on his way to her. He knocked the man away from her to free her and catch her in his hand.

The people all quickly stepped back away, all in surprise and in fear of him, even if he protected them as he has. They had a fear of dragons ingrained in them "Viggo..." she managed to say looking up at him with tears in her eyes

"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner. But I did make a promise even if you didn't want to stay. "

[~Amber~]

"I didn't leave you on my own will...ryland came for me and made me leave with him" she said quietly as she stared up at him

"I understand." He replied while knocking a few more of the enemy soldiers away.

She looked down as many of the soldiers were trying to escape ans run, people were one thing but facing a dragon was another
"Put her down!" Allorah sighed to see ryland pretty close by.
"Speaking of ryland"

He let them go, deciding to follow them later and turned to Ryland. "I will when she asks me to. I have no reason to listen to you."
