"If you really want him to change my suggestion would be to just be yourself without trying to shove change onto him and avoid talking about his past too much, at least not directly. If you plan to bring it up to trigger something then make a food dish or something his mother made or something of that nature. This one should have most of her recopies. Despite being Queen she did made time to cook and bake once in a while."
