"I've been curious, you are very different outside of the temple as eden and I had seen. Do those people look to you often for help?" He questioned making a little shadow version of the little village on the floor


"Alright...thank you seth" she said staying in that spot as she watched him leave, the slight blush still tinting her cheeks

She tilted her head curiously as she thought about it. "I suppose so."

He resumed his errands and went to the little village.

"And why is that? Does no one else wish to take any authority?" He asked curiously "they only seemed to just begin to panic"

Mel curiously walked through the little town, she truly wished she could give then better options but alone she had little authority she would need half of the 7 to back her as well. She sighed and tripped over a rock falling on her hands and knees when she wasnt paying attention to where she was going

"A real system of authority is not allowed for us so we make do. As for why? I was taught as much as my parents could so that I could take care of myself when they were gone. Most cases I've offered to help and they just asked me when they were ready for it." She explained.

"Are you alright miss?" An older woman asked, holding out a hand to help her up, though she was missing her pinky and ring fingers on both hands.

"I see, and your parents? Where are they?" He asked letting the shadows dissolve

"I'm fine" she choked out as she didnt move from the ground, her hands balled into tight fists her knuckles turned white "please just....I need a moment "

She hesitated before answering, deciding on what to say and just settled with simple. "They're dead."

"Oh..okay." She waited, giving her a little bit of space until she was ready to be helped up.

He sat back "I see" he stood up from his chair "you are free to go home if you wish "

"This isnt right, it needs to stop" she said quietly, pushing herself off the ground, her knees scraped up from the fall "I'm done"

She nodded. "As you wish." She stood up as well. quickly moving as she realized how closely she would have been standing in front of him when she got up.

The woman helped her up. "Are you sure you're alright miss?"

He noticed and raised an eyebrow with a questioning look but said nothing


"I'm fine I just need to get home" she said finally looking up at her "as well as beat up some boys for hurting seth...once I find them that is"

She gave a bow before heading out of the room to leave.

"Are you sure dear? That seems like it could really be dangerous."

"Be careful, it's getting dark" he said before walking into another corridor "scary things hide in the shadows you know"


She chuckled "oh dont worry, I got it" she said heading in the direction of where she had originally ran into seth to look for that gang of assholes once more

"I don't fear the dark." She replied before going out the door.

The gang were presently nowhere to be found but they frequented the area.

"Hm...maybe you should " he said heading towards his hall


Mel decided to leave a little plant to keep watch for her, a trick eden had taught her, she took the suppression off only to a normal level the little flower grew from the cracks as it was nothing. She turned around flipping her hood back up and heading towards home

She went home and went straight to sleep, skipping her meal for the day to stretch out what she had until she had a little more time and energy to gather more in the forest and trade with others around.

The next morning Lazarus leaned against the garden wall watching melina and eden giggle amongst themselves, something about a boy or whatever he wante exactly interested but had nothing better planned for the day.
"Well I have to go do somethings" mel said standing up making eden ans Lazarus quite confused
"Alright...have fun" seen said as mel ran off.
"What is she up to?" Lazarus asked and eden shrugged

Mel did as she had yesterday and headed into the little village but had a little basket of treats on her arm. Giving them to some smaller children who ran around. Her now blonde hair bouncing along as she walked through looking for things shw felt could be improved...which was everything
