The two went over things that had been needed to be dealt with and started to work out a new system.

She fed him and went to her room for bed as james sat out on the porch for a bit

Early in the morning they went to bed themselves, sleeping late into the morning.

The castle gates were open and guards were actually coming and going, going out to put up plans for hiring more staff for the castle inside and out as well as the guard. The queen still hadn't been seen yet, but there was clear activity. The two had begun to make plans to get things going again that had lagged over the years.

"Out doing her in stubbornness helped though, she got blood from an actual person and seeing the measure I took helped her get her head back on straight. There is a lot to do still but we decided restaffing the palace would be a good place to start." Drake said, standing in a shaded spot from the sun. It didn't kill them but it was uncomfortable.
