She stayed asleep for the whole night, James had gone to be not long after she had as well

Later in the night, early in the morning some guards outside the main doors shouted at someone before another vampire a bit older than Emily and Drake burst into the throne-room where the two were hanging out.
"What is the meaning of this?" Emily demanded. "You cannot just burst into my castle like this."
"No you can tell me what is the meaning of this rejection?" He argued, holding up the letter she had sent the day prior.
"It means what it says. How dare you show up unannounced like this to shout at me in my own home."

Grace poked her head out her door as a few guards were noisy in the hallway. James poked his head out as well having woke up." Its none of your business grace" James said seeing her face but she grinned and opened the door fully as she shook her hair into place. He sighed and followed her to the commotion that the guards were hurrying to at the moment.
Grace peeked into the throne room from another door as James walked up beside her "what's going on?" She whispered and James just shrugged

Drake noticed them once he smelled them and moved to block the view of them, but the other caught sight of the movement.
"What are you hiding General? I smell humans."
"Yes we have humans who work here, including some of our guards, what is your point?" Emily interjected.
"I suggest you leave and actually send a formal announcement of a visit. This is highly disrespectful," she added with a snarl while standing though he ignored her and appeared in front of where Grace and James were.
"Oh I see. You rejected me for a human pet have you?" He reached out for James but a flash of lightning struck his hand and Emily was now between the two and the newcomer. He jerked his hand back.
"Get. Out." She ordered.

James only took a step back in surprise but grace squealed slightly falling on her butt surprised by the sudden change

Emily shoved him away to the middle of the room and Drake moved closer to the two, helping Grace up.
"You'll want to stay back. The idiot knows how to push Emily's buttons. I just hope they take it outside this time, the throne-room can't handle them fighting again."

Grace kept close to drake staying nestled into his side while James just stayed back "who is this guy? Besides being someone she seems to hate"
