"I know about them but most I had never met. My mom was an only child and her parents passed away when I was younger and my dad has other family but we never knew them well since they lived in another region and after my youngest sister was born he was made to leave. Mom wanted to work to support the family better but dad had a more old-traditional idea of how things should be he also used violence to 'make a man out of me' or when mom or my first sister were 'out of line." He used air quotes for the examples of what his dad would say.

"Well mom made him leave, she owned the house and had proper grounds to terminate the marriage so he was forced out. As far as I know he just went back to his home region. If something happened to him it was after he returned home because his family sent word confirming he got there. Worked out for the better either way."

"Not really though she was also too busy up until I was old enough to work and she was able to retire after I began working as a guard."
