Cal had woke up decently early and noticed the amount of snow and ice and decided to go make sure they were alright on the way to work and school so he headed to the apartment but messaged cora beforehand to see if they were awake

She noticed the message and explained that school was closed and couldn't find anyone in the building who could stay with Abby the whole day. One of her jobs was also closed by the grocery store was trying to stay open for people who needed it and since she walked anyways and needed the money she was going to go and take up extra hours if anyone could stay with Abby.

Not much after she sent that He knocked on the door. He didn't mind staying with Abby for the day for her
