He was working not very far away, getting a start on his own cabin, they all generally just used what they needed and also worked to gather some food.
Meril brought him a canteen of water and some of the lunch made before going back to work herself.

She generally watched him but looked to the others curious about them as well. She notice one of them accidentally whack another in the back of the head with a tree branch and let out a laugh but quickly covered her mouth

He heard and looked in the direction of the tree she was hiding behind and looked back to the crew for a headcount before walking over in that direction.
