The door clicked back open and the girl turned to see who it was, Nikolai didn't seem happy to see her standing there
"Paisley what are you doing in here?"
She gave a curtsy "meeting the new girl your highness, just curious is all"
He eyed her "get out"
She flinched slightly and without taking her eyes off the floor gave another curtsy and hurried out the door

"I mean if she is made to feel that her only worth is with your attention then maybe you should talk to her, or someone should. Her self-worth should not revolve around another person, I know that is crazy for a woman to say in this timeline but if you don't want her the way that she clearly wants you anymore then you should at least make that clear and not string her along. That's the thing with women you keep around like that, their entire self worth and life revolves around you and if you don't want someone around anymore then you need to be honest about it."
