Abilities: Secretly she is an excellent swordsman and very agile and flexible for a human, she also has a high pain tolerance (though by experience rather than choice)
Personality: Alice is a relatively kind and helpful person though won't be pushed around but does know when it is best to be quiet and obedient, if not wait for the right moment. Sometimes she is viewed as just a quiet an obedient person if that is the best course of action she chooses for longer periods of time. Usually though when she pushes things she is a headstrong and stubborn person who always gets back up no matter how many times she is knocked down. She is initially kind, polite and helpful to people until the prove that they aren't deserving of it then she tends to push back more.
Likes: Reading, drawing, being outside no matter the weather or time of day, exploring, seeing new things, music, singing
Dislikes: School, or at least strict structures unless she can move around (work schedules are okay unless work involves sitting around all day), spiders or any other bug with a lot of legs
Family: She's never really known a good and loving family
History: She grew up with abusive parents who were drunk most of the time at home and fighting each other or hurting Alice herself. They had high expectations of her and very strict rules and control over her life though accepted her starting work at 16 as a maid. While at school she also took some secret classes on swordplay and other physical activity just to be able to do something she enjoyed. She developed a very high tolerance for pain due to the abusive home life she had led.
Her family lived in a village at the very border of the land and with the exception of the test at 18 the village was largely left to their own devices besides trade. The forest beside the village was known to be very dense and dangerous that few ventured into unless someone went missing, it was usually near the forest, many fearing monsters within.

I was thinking that her village has like never had someone test for being the coveted type before so it would become a pretty big deal especially also being at the edge of the border too
