She got up from the bed to get ready to go to sleep, heading to the bathroom for a quick bath and to change clothes.

Valek got bored and went to her room, hearing her in the bath he just quietly sat on her bed

She dried off and put on a nightgown before stepping back into the bedroom and seeing him there on the bed. Her expression turned sour.
"What do you want? Here to feed?" She asked in a tone to match.

"Well they're right there beside you." She shrugged.
One of the books were places all over the world that were considered underrated with visiting and the other was a relatively standard medical book though a lot of what it taught she already knew simply by experience.

Alice didn't expect him to ever care about a human on a personal level but he was still going to be a leader after all and if he treated the humans of his land poorly then he and the other vampires would be without humans to feed from.
