She worked on a particular dodge technique one of her training partners had taught her, it was something a human could learn that was effective in out maneuvering most vampires in a fight, no matter the weapon they used and though she had it down as far as doing it she hadn't done it enough to become second nature just yet and that was the goal, it had to become second nature to work or you wouldn't be fast enough.
She caught sight of the little black curls behind the tree and stopped.

She moved a little farther behind the tree "w-what are you doing?" She asked in a quiet and timid little voice

"It's okay, you can come over. I'm just practicing my sword-play. Where I'm from we were right by the dark forest so it wasn't a big deal for everyone who wanted to learn to fight could learn. The more people that knew how the safer the town was."
