Alice turned her look back to Valek, expecting him to have more to say now that his sister was out of the room. She guessed to fuss or something over her spending time with her. It was pretty funny earlier.

He looked back at her but didn't turn around and sighed "if she's scared, bring her to me next time" he said before leaving the room

"You kind of went off into the forest. I'm not bringing a scared little girl into the forest at night while you're in a brooding mood," she rolled her eyes.
"Besides if you want us to stay away from each other so bad then you have to talk to her about it as well. She has things she wants to tell you and hear from you too. She understands more than you might give her credit for so you may want to consider actually being open with her more on some things."

He left and went to his room and just paced back in forth trying to get his head on straight. He knew he was feeling a way he wasn't used to, and he didn't know how to act on or express that feeling which just made him angry
"What is wrong with me" he mumbled to himself sitting down at his desk

Valek kept an eye on her from a distance all day as he tried to figure out what was going on with him and why her

She picked out random subjects that caught her attention and read or flipped through a few different books most of the day.
