He woke up when the door closed and groaned getting up out of the chair and stretched "Well that hurts"

Astrid sat by one of the fountains in the garden for a few minutes, just listening to the quiet besides the fountain. Even crickets were no longer chirping, it was still.

Evie wouldn't have many duties starting out, typical things such as checking laundry for the princess and herself, there were set duites on a calendar for her to have a starting point but only a few of the basic chores to start.
After the sun started to rise the bell for breakfast sounded so Astrid got up and headed in while Nick emerged from his room.

Evie wasn't used to having nothing to do right away so she was just kind of walking back and forth down the hall. Based on her previous experience in homes she really felt like she was going to be in trouble. "Are you alright?" She jumped when she heard Alex behind her and she nodded "I'm not used to having nothing to do right away"

Astrid noticed that her parents were not in the smaller royal family dining room where most common meals were had. She was used to this but thought that they might have come just to observe her and Alex.
One of Alex's staff approached and gave a curtsey, she was in her mid thirties or so and often assigned to guests as she wasn't bothered by anything some entitled person would say. "Good morning sir, My name is Kathy, would you like me to show you to the family dining room? Her highness intends to give you a tour after breakfast."

Evie just grabbed something to eat and quietly sat where she had the day before to eat
"Oh, yes thank you. I'd probably get lost if I attempted to find it myself "

Kathy led the way to another room that was smaller, typical of a mansion dining room that fit around twelve where Astrid sipping on some tea with a spread of food out for them.

"Mm..." He hummed in thought, relearning to speak, "takes me a bit to wake up."
"Good morning. I would ask if you slept well but falling asleep in a chair isn't very comfortable," she was speaking from experience of course.
