There was a sudden crash from downstairs Maggie sat in the other room with her new friend Carly. They heard a scream from downstairs, a one of terror and death, and quickly went to see what happened only to come into a room stained with blood, Carly’s parents dead on the floor there blood pooling around them, Carly ran in first and before Maggie could stop her a shot rang out, blood splattered against the walls and on Maggie, she looked at the man standing before her, the murder. Her eyes wide with fear and she turned to run but a shot rang out and with a cry of pain she collapsed on the floor passed out from the pain and the shock of the blood that now covered her face and the rest of her body.

Adi was pulled into the office late at night being told that there was a new case and the needed her there pronto. running over to the office becuse she doesn't own a car or even a bike becuse the town has been so quiet for the past few days thoe she had just goten back from an overseas expadition (were she used all ehr monye) she walke din to find her boss/ brouther sittin g at his counter
"okay what is so bad that you had to call me out in the middle of the night huh?"
"oh com eon we all know you weren't sleeping anyways since you bought the house to be on your own, witch in my view was a vary bad choice, in your situation."
"oh sut up and tell me the fuken problem"

Maggie pulled her self up only to wince in pain when she got up, the bullet didn’t hit her leg it only nicked the side of it leaving a huge gash. She slowly pulled herself up, tears streaming down her cheeks barely able to turn around she tried to force herself to looked back at the rest of the mess, her best friend and her family dead but she couldn’t do it. She shakily went towards the phone but collapsed again crying her eyes out.

kail was at adi's side in a moments notice i found the location from the last attack" he said witch told adi everything there was anouther THING out there but the thing she didin't not under stand was why now affter all these months why show up now. sh e looked to see the look on kail's face the look of pure hatred from his past adi knew all to well that kai lwanted to find theses things and take them out or die trying. adi sighed and let her head sagg for a few moment s gathering her thoughts then raised it with a whole different look of self confidence mixed with determanation
"kail let's hit the road, we have a lot of work ahead of us." she said with a bit of an evil smiled and kail gave the same smiled back and they were out and on there way to the crime sean

Maggie was in the corner completely helpless at that moment she was huddle in the corner of the living room. She was staring wide eyed at the scene her friend face down in a puddle of blood and her friends parents draped over the couch blood spattered all over the couch the floor and the walls

they were there kail was the first out of the car able to feal hthe presence of mabye one or two unkown left over mabye waiting till there last kill is dead. adi exets the car and notices the look on his face, "shall we go?" he noddded "just be carefull" she smiled and nodded then........ they entered

Maggie was still in the corner, pressed against the wall when she heard the door open, she froze in her spot thinking that they had came back knowing she was still alive and she took in a deep breath “please don’t let them kill me please.” she whimpered crying

kai looked around
"they were deffenetally here" he said noticing teh blood covered place adi froze hearing something comeing from the top of the stairs kail hearing it too slowly turnd around but saw nothing. then sudenly adi was lifted kup into the air. kail quily sliped off the wight glove too reveal his hand and jamed it strait into what seemed to be thing air but his hand was behind the strangth of his bodyand with that insted of feeling air he felt hot liqued goig down the back of his hand. then adi fell to the ground again landing on her feet as a 7 foot red thing appered infront of them and droped to the ground dead. kail sighed" the only way to kill one is to kill it with its own kind. adi sigh and smiled
"well thank you, do you think there are anymore?" he shook his head
"but we are not alone. i don't think they finished there kill" he said looked up the stairs "why else would they still be here risking being seen" she nodded
"good point" she walked up the stairs with kail behind her and opened the door

Maggie looked at them her face covered in blood but there were streaks that were made clean by her tears, she was cut up and covered in blood but not her own. She looked up at them in terror and slowly moved behind the couch. She didn’t know who they were and thought they might be with those strange people that killed everyone else

adi smiled at her
"few looks like we got here just in time kail"
kail waked her in the head a little bit "you idiot if we got here jsut in time every body would still be alive"
adi laughed nervosly "i ment befor they killed her" kail sighed and covered his hand with his glove again
adi smield "don't you worry we arn't with those things we haven't thought up a name for them yet so we just call them the unkown, i am detective mayella, and this is my assistant kail, we are here to investigate"

Maggie pulled herself up from her hiding spot, she was shaking and the look of horror and pain was still on her face. She said nothing and watched them carefully not budging an inch from where she was. Maggie was barely able to keep herself standing she was shaking so much.

adi's smile faltered and she went sirous again
"kail go serch for outhers, i'll deal with this room, see if you find any clues"
kail smiled "isn't that your job"
"oh shut up and just do it"
kail left and adi went to look over the dead bodys makeing sure they actually were dead cheking there pulse and looked at the woonds to see what actually caused it makeing sure that it actually was the unkown that killed them and not one just apperend becuse it smelled blood

She quietly moved from behind the couch and sat on it checking the gash on her leg that she tied with a now crimson ribbon, stained with her blood. “w-what did I do to deserve this.” she said quietly unwrapping her leg to check it out.
