She said nothing, just sat there and took it quietly like every elses hatred, even before she was tossed out of heaven she was hated, she's learned to live with it.

"Tanjiro, just don't try and defend me." Beth said to him and he fell silent but he obviously wanted to say more.
"Yes, technically since I am Death I let you die." She finally answered, she wasn't going to make excuses, that God wouldn't let her interfear, humans didn't need to know how much God didn't care, that he just wanted to be worshiped and yet he let good and young people die, she couldn't tell them that, they couldn't handle it.

"Because I cannot interfer." She said yanking the chains on her wrists and they tightened and the chain became shorter. She cursed and stopped and watched it loosen a little.

"I do, all the time, I help people in Africa in the worst areas of disease and starvation." He argued.
"Then keep helping." She said.
