Adrianna walked back towards home kicking a rock along. It was summer and she' just finished working so she was quiet tired and hungry. she just wanted to get home, the took her normal path through the woods to get back to the little apartment her and her mother shared

She was upset again as she walked home, she'd gotten a comment about her eyes which were as blue as the ocean and that made her think of her father. she had no clue who he was but her mother said she got that from him, along with her love of the sea.

They sat on a fallen tree next to the path. They were both quiet.

she sighed and kept walking as she looked up at the stars "why did you leave? didn't you care at all?" she questioned then she scoffed "wait I know the answer to that no you didn't care."

"No, he's too busy at sea." Emily answered and asked, "You?"

she walked along right past him, she had a little clip in her hair which looked like his trident thing, she was looking down with her hands stuffed in her pockets

"yeah, my mother said it was from my dad. I just wear it to make her think I care about him when I dont." she shrugged "he left, I don't even know his name and he never came for me so I hate his guts. now if you'll excuse me I should get home." she said walking again
