she finally got home and smiled at her mother who was making her something to eat
"how was your day sweetie?" her mother asked
"different." she answered with a smile

Emily picked up the clip and put it in her pocket to give back to her the next time she saw her.

"no, hopefully someone does soon though." her mother replide cleaning up "it's not much but it's still a place to stay."

"Theres an open apartment in this small complex, not much but it's better than out here where we could get eaten in our sleep." Emily said.

"oh Adrianna, nice to see you. now how's your lovely mother" Jim said smiling at her. she mumbled something in greek before handing him the check "you know I never unertand what you say there." Jim said and she shrugged
