Emily was make-shifting something at teh trees nearby while Rio kept it busy

"Um, we don't know right now so it would be best if you went home." He said jumping out of the way as a jet of fire shot at him.
"Of course it spits fire!" He said.
"Rio move!" Emily shouted at him. She had made a river of water from under the thing to her and was in a makeshift slingshot.
"You are insane!" Rio snapped at her.
"If I wasn't this would probably never work." She said adn sliced the rope and used the water as like a slide and stabbed under the thing, it roared and broke down into dust

Rio went to her and said, "Are you okay? You didn't get hurt did you?"
"Looks more like shock." Emily noted while kicking the dust around.
"Why are you doing that?" Rio asked her.
"Monsters haven't been staying dead for very long, not like normal, spread the remains around and it gives more time." She answered and picked up a large spike from the thing. It had a handhold and there was poison on the tip.

"Um...okay." He said confused and did so. Once he was out of earshot she turned to her and asked, "You're mad at him cause he didn't kiss you aren't you? He told me what all went on yesterday and I had asked if he did and he said no and didn't understand why I went ape-shit on him cause he's a stupid boy."

"I just feel he was playing around wth how I feel. he made it seem like a date and paid for dinner I told him he didn't have to but he insisted, walked me to the door and all that. said by, waved and walked inside." she kicked the sand a bit "I'm stupid to think he even likes me."
