She flew high enough so that, if she was visible, she would just look like a bird

Mae walked out next to him
"brother?" she said and he looked down at her
"what is it Mae?" he asked calmly, he was only nice with her, not many people saw his sweet side.
"who were you talking to today?" she asked
he shrugged "new neighbor."

She considered landing, and just going through the back door but she could see some neighbors outside and decided against it. She turned around and found a place to land completely out of sight and retracted her wings back into her back and walked back to the building

"is she nice?" Mae asked as he picked her up and walked back to the bed room to set her down
"not really, bit rude." he said setting her on the bed
she yawned but still smiled "you think everyone's rude."
he chuckled and kissed her forehead "just get some sleep. I'm going to go out for a bit you don't let anyone into the house okay?"
she nodded and fell asleep
he sighed and went out locking the door behind him

She was walking by to her door and unlocked it and tested the door. It opened a little easier but the hinges let out a high pitched squeak that made her cringe and let out a sharp gasp because her hearing was sensitive so her ears were more sensitive to high pitched sounds.

he looked at her, he sighed knowing he'd need her help with what he had to get at the store
"hey you.....sally yeah that's it." he said stopping her "I have a....problem, well Mae does it's a girl problem and I don't really know what to get her because I'm not a girl I've never dealt with it." he was rambling and you could tell it freaked him out

"What kind of girl problem? Did she jump on her period or something?" Sally asked, she was very blunt and open about things like that, well about everything except herself and family
