"You may sit wherever you like, I will be with you in just a few minutes. There are some books on the shelf if you'd like to read." He answered though still did not look up from what he was doing.

"I'm fine right here thanks" she mumbled not really moving from where she stood

He sighed and finally looked up at her. "Please sit down somewhere. You need to relax. Why don't you sit over there by the fire?" He suggested, though it sounded like a request it was more like an order. He was making an attempt at being nice.

she opened her mouth to protest but quickly shut it and sat by the fire but didn't really relax at all

He could sense that but said nothing as he finished up his work and walked over to sit beside her. This time at least he would use some charm so that she would relax and placed a hand on her shoulder. When such a charm was used most described it as a warmth spreading over them, or so his younger sister had told him once when he had asked.

she flinched slightly when he touched her but slowly relaxed after that with a sigh

"I assure you it's easier for both of us if you just relax. Why don't you tell me something about yourself?" He said, his tone more soothing with the charm.

"I like the color pink" she said quietly not sure what to say about herself "makes me feel safer like I'm not stuck in hell anymore"

He couldn't help but grin in amusement at her bluntness, though being induced to relax does cause different reactions in people.
"Well I'm sure there is extra material from the seamstress' perhaps you could get some pink to decorate your room with." He commented while brushing her hair to the side.

she looked over at him after he'd done that "yeah sure not like it would help much I'm still stuck"

He rolled his eyes at that. "Or don't do that, I don't care."

"didn't expect you to I'm just a new toy for you to do whatever the hell you want" she grumbled to herself looking away from him

"I have little interest in doing anything to you or using you in any way other than my simple need of blood. I need you and may summon you for basic company, because my twin sister tells me I need it and her nagging is irritating." He answered.

"siblings are supposed to be irritating" she said still not looking at him

"So I've been told." He answered.
