The other new guard was posted at Casey's room while Jasper was busy.
Casey closed her eyes and relaxed in the water.

he surveyed the windows and balcony outside her room to see if there were ways to get in from anywhere besides her door. you could see into her room from a guard tower posted near the fence and noticed a younger guard with binoculars looking that way. wasn't till then he noticed you could see into her bathroom. he sighed and went back to her room and knocked on the door " two seconds to cover up princess" he said before opening the door and walking over to close the half open curtain

The window only looked into a small fraction of the bathroom from the angle of the tower, but Casey had learned this quickly and kept the curtains closed when she changed or something but otherwise had them open when it wasn't necessary to keep them closed. The newer guard was taken off guard by his simply walking in after a short warning, but as Jasper was her personal guard it was allowed so he said nothing.
She decided it was best to just stay where she was under the thick foam of the bubbles.
"You know that wasn't two seconds and two seconds isn't enough time to do that." She commented. "That curtain wasn't open enough to see far in here."

"Well he was sure trying" he said simply "he had some strange thing on the binoculars or whatever it was to see at a different angle" he said not even looking over at her before leaving again and heading out to the tower

he went out there and grabbed the boy, you could hear him scream from all the way back at the castle when Jasper got to him and was dangling him over the edge and had taken the binoculars from him "well well well in a pickle here" he said as the boy was trying to get him to bring him back in "come on I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"

By that time she had dried off and changed and heard the scream, going out to the balcony and could just see what was going on from where she was.
"Oh god, why?" She questioned, becoming even more embarrassed as this would only display to others within the vicinity of who the young guard had been trying to spy on.
"I'm never leaving my room again." She declared and went back into the room.
"Princess? Are you alright in there?" The guard outside her door called.
"Mortified, but fine." She answered. The guard did not ask why and left her be.

he lifted the terrified kid back to land and he collapsed on the ground in front of him "now what have we learned?" Jasper snapped and the boy looked up at him "if I spy again you'll actually drop me"
"correct " he said before walking away and back to the castle

Casey locked her door to keep Jasper from barging in again and had locked the balcony doors back after coming back inside.
"I hope as little people saw that as possible....but if I heard that scream then others did too." She said while curling up and hiding under the covers.

Jasper just leaned against the wall outside her room next to the other guy "she locked it I bet now didn't she?"

"Oh." He replied with a simple nod, not saying anymore and was sent elsewhere.
Now he's telling people who didn't see what had happened. Fantastic. She thought bitterly. It wasn't necessarily that he had stopped the guy, it was the manner that he did it, drawing complete attention to the whole situation.

"It's hard not to, you're right there at the door." She called, briefly poking her head out from under the covers to do so.
